When we lived in Haarlem, we'd wake up some mornings to the smell of chocolate in the air. When you're hungry it can be the worst smell imaginable. Other times, just heavenly.
I know the feeling all to well :)
Sometimes the smell is a bit too extreme though.

I believe the Droste factory was taken over by Blooker (U.S. firm?) Part of the Droste sign used to a figure with a round body. The buildings on some of the photo's here were on the site of the old power plant, that used to be next to 'Droste'.
That does not diminish my liking the shots a lot!
I tried to find out about the history of the place, but absolutely nothing came up. :( Too bad..
